Tuition Assistance and G.I. Bill
In some cases, the Veterans Administration’s Tuition Assistance Program (VATAP) and the Montgomery G.I. Bill (GI) exam payments are made directly to the individual and not to the school. Therefore, all tuition and exam fees that are covered and not covered by VATAP and or the G.I.Bill can be paid before or after processing. If you wish to use a credit card, we accept Visa or Mastercard. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for processing on all personal or company checks.
Please Note* - Final balance payments can not be made by personal check. Final payments must be made with credit card, cash or money orders only.
Military Tuition Assistance Calculations
Military Tuition Assistance and the Montgomery G.I.Bill Program fees can be claculated by using the clock hour or the semester hour formula below.
All U.S. Student Clock Hour Rates = $16.67
All U.S. Student extended clock hour rates = $35.00
All International Student Clock Hour Rates are calculated at $25.00 per clock hour.
All International Student extended clock hour rates = $45.00
All T.A./G.I.Bill College Semester Hour rates = $250.00
Example: (200A&P Course) = 184 clock hours x $16.67 rate per hour = $3,067.00 or 184 clock hours / 15 hours = 12.26 semester hours x $250.00 per semester hour = $3,067.00. Then add in $1,650.00 for the exam reinbursement from the Montgomery G.I. Bill program.
A Montgomery G.I. Bill Exam Reinbursement of $1,650.00, $1,100.00 or $550.00 is authorized for the FAA’s A&P, A or P with General or A or P Add-on Exams respectively. Also, a reinbursement of $100.00 will be granted for all FCC Exams through the Montgomery G.I. Bill Exam Reimbursement Programs.
Once again, Tuition Assistance and or the Montgomery G.I.Bill Program funds are available for those service members who qualify. Please check with your Base Education Office or your G.I. Bill Rep to find out what amount you qualify for. Also, remember Military educational funds are paid directly to the school at a maximum rate of $4,500.00 annually.
